Rotary Peace Fellowships 2026-2027 is an Outstanding and fully funded program established for individuals committed to peace building and conflict resolution. Annually, Rotary chooses and sponsors dedicated professionals all over the world to pursue a master’s degree or professional development certificate in peace and conflict studies.

Scholarship Overview
The Rotary Peace Fellowships organizes two academic paths: a master’s degree at one of Rotary’s Peace Centers and a certificate program for mid-career professionals.
These programs equip People with the knowledge, practical skills, and global networks needed to drive meaningful abs intentional change in peace and development.
Since its establishment, the Rotary Peace Fellowships have enabled thousands of people to spearhead globally significant projects.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific requirements based on the program they choose:
- Master’s Program: Candidates must acquire at least three years of full-time work experience in a peace-related field and a bachelor’s degree. They should also demonstrate and reflect leadership skills and a commitment to international peace and development.
- Certificate Program: The rotary Peace Fellowships are designed for professionals with five years of relevant experience, this program is held at Makerere University (Uganda) and Bahçeşehir University (Turkey). Candidates must either be from the respective regions, work there, or show a deep interest in regional peace efforts.
- General Restrictions: Rotary members, their close relatives, or employees of Rotary International are not eligible for the rotary peace fellowships. Additionally, candidates must have at least three years between their last degree and the start of the fellowship.
Application Procedures
Applicants should follow these steps:
- Research the Programs: Review and study properly the academic offerings of the Rotary Peace Centers and select two preferred institutions for the master’s program.
- Engage with Rotary: Applicants must Connect with a local Rotary or Rotaract club to provide mentorship and strengthen your application.
- Submit the Application: Applications must be completed between February and May 15, 2025. Before submitting, make sure all documents have been submitted.
- Prepare Required Documents: Submit a resume, academic transcripts, professional recommendations, personal essays, a video statement, and proof of English proficiency (if required). All these should not be fake as they will be reviewed by the Rotary fellowship.
- Selection Process: Applications are examined for eligibility upon submission. Interviews are conducted with shortlisted candidates prior to the final selection in November 2025.
- Institution Admission: Candidates must apply independently for admission to the institution; being chosen as a fellow does not guarantee it.
