Founded by the University of Melbourne, this scholarship is open to exceptionally achieving domestic and international students pursuing a Master’s degree with a research degree or a doctoral degree.

Scholarship details:
• Full coverage of tuition fees for up to two years for students pursuing a Master by Research degree, or up to four years for those pursuing a doctoral degree
• A yearly living stipend of $37,000 (pro rata based on 2024 full-time study rate) for up to two years for Masters by Research students, or up to 3.5 years for doctoral students
• Relocation grant of $2000 for students relocating from states or territories other than Victoria, or $3000 for students moving from outside Australia
• Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) Single Membership for international students needing a student visa to study in Australia

Eligibility:
To qualify for this scholarship, you must have applied for and satisfied the entry requirements for a graduate research degree at the University of Melbourne, or be currently enrolled in such a program at the university.
Application process:
If you are a new student and have submitted an application for a graduate research course by the closing date, you will automatically be considered for the Graduate Research Scholarships. Deadlines for each faculty member may vary.
