Scholarship Overview
Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award is established for students pursuing degrees in STEM fields, including Computing and Information Science, Biomedical Science, Physical Science, and Engineering. Selected candidates will undertake research attachments at ASTAR’s Research Entities for a period of two to six months.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Singapore International Pre-Graduate Award, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be an international student in their 3rd or 4th year of undergraduate studies or pursuing a master’s degree.
- Be studying in a STEM-related field such as Computing, Biomedical, Physical Science, or Engineering.
- Have a strong academic record, with at least a Second-Class (Upper) Honours or equivalent in their bachelor’s degree.
- Must be able to maintain enrollment in their home university throughout the research attachment.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English (both written and spoken): Applicants should be proficient in communicating in English.
- Must be able to demonstrate a genuine interest in research as a potential career path. According to its scholarship standards, ASTAR may also use other selection factors.
