The scholarship celebrates International Women’s Day in March, which highlights the accomplishments and efforts of women around the globe.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following requirements in order to be eligible for the March Monthly Scholarship, and each of them is carefully evaluated:
- Enrollment: Be accepted into or enrolled in a full-time degree program at one of the MPOWER-supported universities in the United States or Canada.
- Legal Permission: Have the right to study in the United States or Canada as an international student.Applicants must be protected by Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or possess a valid visa that allows them to study in the United States.
- Study Permit:Candidates must possess a current Canadian study permit to study in Canada.
Application Procedures
To apply for the MPOWER Monthly Scholarship Series, follow these steps:
- Enter your personal information: Submit your personal details that include your name, phone number, email address, gender, date of birth, citizenship, and immigration status in the nation where you are studying.
- Provide proof of enrollment or admission to a Canadian or American university, particularly by sharing your enrollment details.
- Verify acceptance or enrollment at an MPOWER Partner University in the United States or Canada.
- Essay Submission: Write a 200–500 word essay responding to the prompt, “Explain to us what International Women’s Day means to you.” Applications with illustrative examples and proof of impact are given preference by the scholarship committee.
- Consent to Terms: Check the box to confirm your agreement to the Terms of Service.
