The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training offers scholarships for master’s programs in Flanders and Brussels to exceptional students from across the globe. A Master Mind Scholarship comprises a grant of €10,000 along with a tuition fee waiver per academic year (60 ECTS).
Recipients of the Master Mind Scholarship are only required to pay an administrative enrollment fee. The grant is disbursed in installments and covers accommodation expenses, insurance, and a substantial portion of their living costs.

Scholarship Value/Duration:
A Master Mind Scholarship includes a grant of €10,000 and a tuition fee waiver per academic year. Recipients of the Master Mind Scholarship are only required to pay an administrative enrollment fee. The duration of mobility is one academic year for a Master program of 60 ECTS and two academic years for a Master program of 120 ECTS.

Eligibility:
- The applicant must apply to pursue a Master degree program at a higher education institution in Flanders (hereafter ‘Flemish host institution’).
- The applicant should demonstrate a high standard of academic performance and/or potential, with a Grade Point Average of 3.5 out of 4.0.
- The student must have a good command of the English language. Specific requirements are available on the official website.
- The student must be accepted by the Host institution to receive the scholarship, even if the Host institution’s decision is made after the selection for the Master Mind Scholarships program.
- The applicant can be nominated by only one Flemish higher education institution and should choose one institution to submit their application into the Mobility Online tool if preselected by more than one.
- All nationalities, except for Russian, can apply, provided their previous degree is obtained from a higher education institution located outside Flanders.
- Students already enrolled in a Flemish higher education institution are not eligible to apply.

Application Process:
Students cannot apply directly. Applications must be submitted to the host institution. The host institution preselects eligible applications and submits them online. The application deadline is 28 April 2023, 23:59 GMT+1. Applicants should also verify the internal deadlines set by the Flemish Host Institution, which vary and fall between 1 February and 31 March 2024.
