    Taiwan International Higher Education Scholarship Program

    The goal of the TaiwanICDF’s International Higher Education Scholarship Program is to support partner developing countries in achieving sustainable development through education. Through this initiative, TaiwanICDF offers scholarships for higher education, collaborating with esteemed partner universities in Taiwan to provide undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs.

    Ongoing Scholarships: Australia Research Training Program (RTP) Scholarships

    Scholarship details:

    TaiwanICDF provides each scholarship recipient with comprehensive support, covering return airfare, housing, tuition and credit fees, insurance, textbook costs, and a monthly allowance of NT$12,000 for undergraduates, NT$18,000 for master’s students, and NT$20,000 for Ph.D. students.

    Eligibility:

    To be eligible, applicants must be citizens of a country listed as eligible for the TaiwanICDF Scholarship, and meet specific criteria laid out by their country and/or government of citizenship. They should not be nationals of the Republic of China (Taiwan) or overseas compatriot students. Additionally, applicants must satisfy the admission requirements of the partner university where they seek to study under a TaiwanICDF scholarship and meet all requirements for a Resident Visa.

    Application instructions:

    Applicants should complete their application through the online system and submit a signed, printed copy along with all other required documents to the ROC (Taiwan) Embassy/Consulate General/Representative Office in their country. Additionally, applicants should submit all documents required by the TaiwanICDF partner schools they are applying to before the university’s admissions deadline.

    The annual application period generally runs from January 1 to March 15. For the 2024 Scholarship programs, the application period spans from December 1, 2023, to March 15, 2024.
