These scholarships are awarded on a merit basis and are available for both Master’s and PhD programs. Turkish Republic citizens and international students are eligible to apply for either full or partial scholarships depending on program level and academic qualifications.
PhD Programs: 100% or 50% tuition fee scholarships for new students from Turkey and abroad.
Master’s Programs: 100% or 50% tuition fee scholarships for Turkish citizens; 50% tuition scholarships for international students.
Scholarship applications are accepted During the program application periods, twice annually Fall and Spring.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet specific academic thresholds to qualify for the scholarship:
For International and Turkish Republic PhD Applicants:
- Minimum undergraduate CGPA of 3.00/4.00 or equivalent.
- Applicants with 2q00p0p0p0.75 – 2.99 CGPA must present either a 65+ ALES score (TR citizens) or a 3.50 CGPA in a master’s degree.
- Evaluation includes departmental rankings, not limited to CGPA.
For Turkish Republic Master’s Applicants:
- Minimum undergraduate CGPA of 3.00/4.00.CGPA between 2.75 – 2.99 requires an ALES score of 65+ (for thesis and non-thesis programs).
- Ranking based on departmental assessment.
Other Key Conditions:
Scholarships are not available to students who previously enrolled in the same level program at EMU and re-apply.Special/visiting students are not eligible.Scholarship eligibility ends if a student withdraws and re-applies.
Application Procedures
To apply for the EMU Postgraduate Scholarship:
