American University of Sharjah Scholarship established in 1997 by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the American University of Sharjah (AUS) has evolved into a reputable institution offering 28 undergraduate majors, 45 minors, 16 master’s programs, and four PhD programs. Eligibility Criteria
American University of Sharjah Scholarship, Undergraduate Scholarships Chancellor’s Scholars Award:
- Minimum 95% average in the last three years of secondary education
- Proven leadership, social involvement, and extracurricular achievements
- Essay submission
- Limited financial resources
- Merit Scholarship: High school average of 90% or above in either the final year or in at least two of the last three years
Sharakah School Scholarship:
- Minimum 90% high school average
- Outstanding personal and academic achievements
- Nomination by a participating Sharakah school
Master’s Scholarships:
- Full admission status (not conditional or probationary).
- Minimum GPA of 3.25Enrollment in at least 9 credit hours (full-time) or 6 credit hours (part-time).
PhD Scholarships:
- Full admission status.
- Minimum GPA of 3.25 throughout the program.
- Minimum of 6 credit hours per semester
Application Procedures
Undergraduate StudentsChancellor’s Scholars Award:
- Apply before the June 15 deadline (Fall Semester).
- Merit Scholarship: Automatically considered with admission no separate application needed.
- Sharakah School Scholarship: Nomination by the school due by the first week of July.
Graduate Students (Master’s): Submit Graduate Admission application with assistantship box Marked Include academic transcripts and two recommendation letters.
