Berea College Scholarships for International Students is a first-year enrollment scholarship for all admitted students in Berea College. This scholarship offsets the costs of tuition, room, board, and fees.
The Berea College scholarship is hosted by Berea College for over 30 new international students who want to pursue a bachelor’s degree in any subject.

Scholarship Inclusion:
Upon admission, all international students are provided financial aid and scholarships that cover 100% of tuition, room, board, and fees for the first year of enrollment. In the subsequent years, international students are expected to set aside US$1,000 annually to contribute towards their expenses. The college offers summer jobs to international students to assist them in meeting this obligation.
Additionally, accepted international students are required to submit a $2,200 (US) deposit to confirm their enrollment, which can be utilized for specific expenses during their four years of study. For students who are unable to pay all or a portion of the deposit, additional financial aid is available.

Who can Apply?
Prospective students must satisfy the entrance requirements for the university in their respective countries and present exceptional results from their secondary or leaving exams. Furthermore, applicants must furnish scores from one of the following approved standardized tests: TOEFL, IELTS, SAT, ACT, or Duolingo. The minimum scores required for each test are as follows:
- TOEFL: 520 (paper-based); 190 (computer-based); 68 (internet-based)
- IELTS: 6 overall, 5 in each area
- ACT: 19 Composite
- SAT: 980 Combined Score
- Duolingo: 95

Application Details:
The application process is presently closed. Applications must be fully submitted no later than 15 January, with the early application deadline set for 15 October. Each academic year commences in August.
