Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Rhodes Global Scholarship 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Nationality: You must not be eligible for an existing Rhodes constituency. If you have strong ties to a Rhodes region but don’t meet its eligibility rules, consider inter-jurisdictional application instead.
- Age:General candidates must be between 18 and 24 years old on October 1, 2025 (born between October 2, 2000, and October 1, 2007).
- Medical students with a required internship may be between 18 and 25 years old (born after October 1, 1999).
- Older applicants who finished their first degree later than usual must be under 27 on October 1, 2025 (born after October 1, 1998) and must have completed their undergraduate degree after October 1, 2024.
- Academic Requirements: You must have already completed or expect to complete your undergraduate degree by July 2026. A First-Class Honours degree or a GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher significantly increases your chances of admission.
