    Eligibility Criteria

    To be considered for the award, applicants must:

    • Possess a doctorate or doctorate by the time the grant begins.
    • Work for a university or nonprofit research organization.
    • By July 1, 2026, they must be in their second or third year of a pediatric oncology fellowship (research residency formats are an exception).
    • Not hold the title of assistant professor or any higher academic appointment.
    • Be mentored by a qualified faculty member in an American Board of Paediatrics approved program in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology. A co-mentor is permitted.

    Application Procedures

    Interested applicants must:

    • Submit a response to short questions through the InfoReady
    • Review portal: Applicants should endeavour to review portal and ensure availability of requirements.
    • Provide a two-page project summary detailing the research aims, rationale, and methodology.
    • Include an updated bio sketch for both the applicant and the primary mentor.
    • Make sure that by May 30, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET, all internal application materials are turned in.
    • Await the results of the nomination by June 9, 2025.
    • Work with Foundation Relations to submit application materials and a Letter of Intent (LOI) by July 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM ET, if you are chosen.
