Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Candidates must be non-Chinese nationals with a current foreign passport, a clean criminal background, good morals, and a positive outlook on China.
- Academic Standards:HSK Level 5 or above and exceptional high school academic success are prerequisites for undergraduate candidates.
- Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or better and an HSK Level 5 or above in order to be considered for graduate programs taught in Chinese.
- Graduate applicants (those enrolled in English-taught programs) must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or higher, a TOEFL score of 80 or higher, or documentation of prior English-taught coursework; a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher is also required.
- Scholarship Status: Applicants are not permitted to be recipients of any other scholarships.
