    • Log Into the Scholarship Portal: Access the FGS Scholarship Management Platform using a Dalhousie Net ID or an email-based account.
    • Create a single account, even if applying for multiple scholarships.
    • Submit an Application: Choose the “My Applications” section to begin or edit submissions.
    • Applying for a master’s degree through the CGS-M Competition requires opting in via the portal by choosing “Master’s Level – CGS-M Opt-In.”
    • Complete Self-Identification Questionnaire: This guarantees eligibility for prizes that meet certain requirements. All answers are kept private.
    • Upload Transcripts: Compile all of the transcripts into a single PDF. Dalhousie’s unofficial grade reports could be used.
    • Provide References: Referees must upload reference letters directly into the portal by the deadline signified on the site. Track the status of submissions to prevent delays.
    • Finalize Submission: Click “Save and Finalize” only after you have accepted the terms and conditions. Up until the last minute, applications can be revised and withdrawn.
